After 10 months of negotiations failed to produce an agreement the 430 members of OPSEU Local 535, staff members at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), have been on strike since March 25, 2024.

A key issue is management’s growing reliance on precarious, part-time employment and outsourcing jobs. Additionally, workers have been significantly affected by Bill 124, which imposed limitations on their pay increases.

You can show your support for AGO workers by joining the picket line at the corner of McCaul and Dundas, anytime between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

No Deal, No AGO | Take the Pledge

Take action in solidarity with striking AGO working and sign the pledge to not cross their picket line. No Deal, means No Ago. Pledge to:

  • NOT renew your AGO membership
  • NOT donate to the gallery
  • NOT to enter the AGO
  • NOT attend gallery events

until the workers have a fair deal!

There is no art, without art workers!
